There are 6 options as to how class fees can be paid and who they apply to.
Billing is based on a 50 week year. Class fees are calculated on an $8.00 per class basis. Each month has an average of 4.17 weeks.
We appreciate payments made by checks or money order. Credit card payments may be available toward year end but they are not available at this time.

Subscription fees:
Students taking classes at the La Quinta Senior Center must use this option as that is how the Senior Center has structured their fee collection procedures.
Students from out of area (50 plus miles) from class location may make this election. It will be determined in advance how many weeks the students will be in the area and he/she can pay for a pre-determined number of classes.
There are no refunds if a class is missed.
Monthly fees:
Monthly fees are $35.00.
No refund for missed classes.
Quarterly Fees:
Quarterly fee is $100.00. April 1st begins the second quarter of each year.
No refund for missed classes.
6-Month Fees:
6 Month fee is $190.00
This includes a $10.00 discount

Annual Fee:*
Annual Fee of $375.00 includes a $25.00 discount.
In 2004 annual equals 9 months as a cost of $275.00

Drop In Fees:
These apply to students who attend class very irregularly.
Class fee is $12.00 per class
The Tai Chi Education and Research Institute is dedicated to making classes available to everyone regardless of their financial status. We are putting together a scholarship/low income support package for eligible students. Scholarships will not exceed 50% of quarterly class fees. Scholarship applications will be available. Proof of Eligibility will be required. If you want to apply for a scholarship please contact the Director at (760)325-9384 There may be a 2 week waiting period from receipt of application to determination of applicant’s eligibility. Students who plan to apply for a scholarship are required to pay the full first month $35.00 fee.
We are a 502 (C) 3 organization and you are welcomed to make a charitable, tax exempt donation. Donations contribute to the scholarship/low-income fund and help the Institute provide classes to all interested students. We welcome donations of all amounts. A donation envelop comes with your Payment Receipt.
